I keep each and every one of the cards I’ve received for all of my birthday’s, on all the Valentine’s Days, Christmas Days etc. Each and every one of them.
Sadly, I’ve stopped receiving them. Now I only get digital cards which disappear Poof! into thin air after I’m through viewing them.
Are you sentimental too? Do you keep your old cards? If you do, you better hide the ones from old boyfriends/girlfriends before the spouse finds them. Hahaha.

come , gimme yr address. I send you home-make one.
I dunwan to give you. I know you bluff me one.
True dat gone are the days when we used to send and receive cards.
U reminded me and I searched for the bag of cards. I still keep the cards Pappy sent me and are ‘aiyo’ they’ve turned yellowish.
I hope you had fun looking at the old cards pappy gave you.
I am also a card keeper. But nowadays, I get e-cards mostly or sms instead. I still print out the e-cards but it’s not the same.
I don’t have a printer!
This reminds me of my photo albums.. My family keeps alotta photo albums but then some time after I entered secondary school, the photo collection stopped because everything is in digital format, stored in computer harddisks.
It just doesn’t feel the same anymore
At least you have your old photo albums. My kids have none. They’re all in digital format, right from the day they were born. I always worry about losing the whole collection so I have to backup again and again.
I keep all my old cards too. Nothing like the thrill of opening the mailbox to find a Birthday or Christmas card
And reading the little messages within. The digital cards mostly come with prepared messages.. unless your friend or relation will type in some extra messages. Sigh.
I thought I am a sentimental person but after this post, I think I am far from sentimental. I have not really kept any letters or cards…..
Keeping them may not mean that you are sentimental but may mean that you’re a junk hog. (Those that sayang to throw anything away!) Hahaha.
What I usually do is print screen for all my e-cards… and keep a jpeg copy lor!
Tak sama lah.
Nice to finally meet you! – I\’m not exactly sure what this has to do with Baby Shower Card (that\’s what I was searching on MSN when I saw a link here), but I\’m glad I got a chance to read your blog. Thanks!!
