I just turned down USD65 worth of paid reviews

Boo Hoo Hoo. I just turned down USD65 worth of work. Thats about RM220. Can go shopping in Robinsons with that. I was so happy to open my mailbox and see the offers this morning but then….

I was supposed to write about online casino and online gambling but I just couldn’t do it. I don’t believe in gambling because I think it causes problems for families. Many gamblers can become addicted to gambling. Its even easier to become addicted when it comes with the privacy of being online.

Waahhh. I could easily have submitted this very post and put in the link to the online gaming site and earn it but……….. Sob. Sob.

Nevermind, to comfort myself, I shall go and write more of my own posts and look for other work.

I also turned it down albeit it was USD30.00. Still, I would not blog about gambling, casinos or the like. I am not so desperate for the money as to sell my principles. Kudos to you :D

I had one from ReviewMe and two more from Linkpost so I had to turn down 3 offers. It would be like aiding and abetting gambling. :P

    Hey mum,
Bravo on holding to your principles.

You din lose a cent because you proved how invaluable principles are.

    Cheers,
    RoK

RoK, Thank you for your encouraging words. :)

I can understand. $65 is hard to resist. Heck, for me even $6 I am already jumping for joy..LOL..There are many opps around like you said and i am sure you will find much joy in writing the next one and the next one and the next one and…ok, shall stop here…:)

Now, I tarik harga adi. Hehe. I seldom write $5 post that requires 200-300 words. (unless its something close to my heart and very relevant which I can almost write with one eye closed. ;) It just requires too much effort. I prefer to wait for a higher paying one and write my own stuff in the meantime. Blogging is more fun that way and my blog won’t become too rojak.

I did whack it as long as it’s offered to my *coughs* spam *coughs blog and not my main blog. Haha!

Lol! You are aiding and abetting gambling you know anot?

I do gamble, very now and then. :D

Well, I do gamble too… during CNY and I did do something on backgammon a while back but this one on Casinos may encourage hardcore gambling, I’m afraid.

Ahhh..! i got that offer too.. but I write .. hor in the end.. to “Gamble responsibly”, $150 is very hard to resist.. ;)

I too rejected one, but mine was 10 times cheaper.

USD65, really not sure if I could resist the temptation.

Its not one USD65 but 3 which came up to that amt so I turned down 3 actually. Haha.

Me too, I turned it down. I saw the one about killing bedbugs but no, couldn’t do that one either. And the ones that encourage plagiarism, not those either. Hahaha, I’m one picky blogger.

Picky. Picky. Picky. Me too. And I don’t do those that have a long list of instructions and request for a lot of words but pay a minimal sum. Hey! Its hard work you know. :)

Good for you. I did turn down all of them. At least we still do what is right and it is not all about $.

Good for you too and when doing paid posts its always nice to have a “support” group. :)
