Filthy Public Toilet

Yesterday I was at a hawker style food court in Kajang. The kids wanted to go to the toilet so I had no choice but to take them.

My oh my, the toilet was filthy! The floors were dirty and in one toilet, there was blood on the floor, probably left behind by someone who couldn’t put on her sanitary pad on time or whatever. It was disgusting. And naturally, as expected, there was no soap. Fortunately, there was water. Phew!

With such toilets, how do you expect people to have proper hygiene?

I try my best not to use the public toilets in Malaysia. But funnily, the toilets here are so much cleaner than those back home, even in rural ares. :P Maybe just a bit old, but at least, not so filthy and smelly. LOL!

Gosh. That puts us to shame! We’re much better now but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

That’s very unfortunate right? If only everyone will start treating the public toilet as their own at home, the toilet will be so much cleaner.

Maybe the toilet at home is just as dirty. lol.

After all these years being away from Msia, disappointing to read that hygiene conditions in public toilets have not improved. That’s the part of my upcoming trip to Msia that I am not looking forward to.

There has been some improvements. At least the toilets in shopping complexes are a lot better now.

we have blood, unflushed feces, overflowing toilet bowls due to throwing too much toilet paper in… and the list of disgust goes on man!

Over there too? But not as bad as here.

i cant agree with you more, you still have a long way before we can enjoy clean clean public toilets.

i guess as parent,we have the duty to guide and teach our children about public cleaniess and not being selfish.

hey,i truly appreciate you being my blogger friend.

    take care

Yes, you are right. We have the duty to educate our children. :) And I am happy to know you as my blogger friend too. :)
