I remembered I hate the job of wrapping text books. I was using the text books from school so it is compulsory for us to take good care of it. I have no choice but to obey the rules.

Anyway, it is a good thing that your girl wish to help mommy in the wrapping book task. In future, she could take over the job from mommy.

hehe.. no. we couldn’t afford them posh (and private) tartan suitcases. I got the open woven (rectangular) wicker baskets where all the contents can be seen!

Wicker is nice. I don’t mind owning one now. Hahaha.

I tried letting Des wrapped her books too but too ‘ugly’ to pass thru my eyes.

How come my girl hasn’t got her books from loan yet? She only got back the ones dat has to be paid for.

My girl got the ones that were paid for first. (17 copies). We just got the ones on loan (7 copies). Maybe more to come.

incidentally, I was wrapping Kelly’s books last night, and she offered to help, so I let her try wrapping one. Well, what can I say? I am an anally neat freak. In the end, I did it all by myself, including the one that she had wrapped (which I re-wrapped!) Sigh.

Actually, I secretly rewrapped some of them. Hehe.

I love to wrap books…
I love to wrap them because I USED to love hearing praises from my friends, saying that I could wrap them up so nicely and neatly WITHOUT a single piece of tape.
Then ended up, I’ve got to wrap my friends’ books…
*laugh*

Haha. My husband is very good at this type of praise you know. “You are better at this than me, or you are so good at this, can you do it please?” Hmmm…….

I always use the old style of plastic wrapping for books. I bought a roll and keep it at hiome ready to use. Ready to used ones would made kids doesn’t appreciate a process.

I bought the rolls this year but its too much effort for the great number of books they have! Besides, the slip on ones can be easily recycled.

i intend to wrap my son’s book too. but i dont know when i shd buy it. he is going to std 1 next yr. shd i buy it before the orientation starts or after?

Wen, the school gave us a book list during orientation and collected payment then. As for the text books, some are free. So its best you wait till the orientation to find out.

Wow so fast started wrapping, I only got the books today.

Haha. Yes, wanted to get it out of the way. We ran out of wrapper though so I recycled some from this year’s books.

Haha. Yes, its fast isn’t it but I prefer it this way, then to have a rush early next year.
