“I Believe I Can Fly”
I used to think that I could not go on
And life was nothing but an awful song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I’m leaning on the everlasting arms
If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there’s nothing to it
[1]
I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
See I was on the verge of breaking down
Sometimes silence can seem so loud
There are miracles in life I must achieve
But first I know it starts inside of me, oh
If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there’s nothing to it
[Repeat 1]
Hey, cause I believe in me, oh
If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there’s nothing to it
[Repeat 1]
Hey, if I just spread my wings
I can fly
I can fly
I can fly, hey
If I just spread my wings
I can fly
Fly-eye-eye

Hi!
I just wanted to say I love reading your blog and hope you continue to write it for years to come. I am a Malaysian woman in here 30s living in Australia. I went to Australia for Uni studies and never moved back. I often think of Malaysia and wonder what my life would be like if I lived there now. Reading of your children’s adventures and your parenting style, advice and adventures reminds me of my childhood in Malaysia although your kids are of a different generation. It is so nice to have those memories come flooding back each time I read your blog. Thank you so much for your blog! God bless you and your lovely family. I miss Malaysia but at least your blog makes me feel a little in touch with Malaysian life.
Hi Christine. My husband went to Aust for Uni studies and thank goodness he moved back or I would never have met him. 🙂 We are in our 40s heading towards and very near to our 50s… 😛 Thanks for visiting my blog and for the sweet words. 🙂
